Our Little Rock Star!

Anja is back to her old self after being quite sick for about a week, bopping around and all smiles. We had a great day today; here she is striking her rock star poses.

Puerto Rico!

This year the St. Kate's swim team took their annual training trip to Ponce, Puerto Rico. My parents made bringing Anja along possible by making the trip themselves and helping to take care of Anja while I was coaching. (THANK YOU!) Anja continues to be an exceptional traveler, being the best baby on every flight we took (four). Here are some of my favorite photos.

We learned that Anja LOVES the water (yes!).

Anja with G'ma in downtown Ponce and with G'pa at our hotel's pool.

We went to El Yunque, a rainforest in northeastern Puerto Rico. Here's a shot of the team.

Anja and I opted out of the hike (I went on it when we were there two years ago--not very friendly for a one year-old). We found a great spot though and played with fallen leaves and splashed in puddles of water.

Puerto Rico has some great views and beautiful sunsets.

Anja poolside. We took walks around the pool area each morning and dipped our feet just for fun. Her hair curled like crazy in the humidity!

The Last Days of 2007 and the First of 2008

We've been busy the past few weeks . . . here are some photos. I'll add photos from our trip to Puerto Rico in the next couple of days!

The Grandpas jammin' together at the Erickson-Letnes Christmas celebration. Anja just stood and stared at them. She loved it!

We went to the Children's Museum with extended family the day after Christmas. Anja loved the place--here she is in their water discovery area.

Anja and Ethan (2nd cousins?) in the karaoke exhibit. Ethan just turned three.

Anja's new expression and phrase: "I dunno?!"

Erik's favorite part of the Sesame Street exhibit was the chess board.

There was a massive ant maze in one of the exhibit areas complete with tunnels and slides. Even the grown-ups crawled around. Fun for all!
